Introduction


This version of the Privacy Policy became effective on September 1, 2013. Your privacy is very important to Nuvo Residential, LLC (“Nuvo Residential”, “NuvoH2O,” “we,” or “us”), and we are committed to providing you a secure online environment. The following Privacy Policy applies to all of the websites owned and/or operated by Nuvo Residential, LLC and its owned and/or operated affiliated businesses (collectively, the “Sites,” which shall include but not be limited to any and all sites and subdomains associated with Nuvo Residential LLC, NuvoH2O, Nuvodirect, Citracharge, and Citracharge Pro). This Privacy Policy is a part of and is incorporated into the Nuvo Residential, LLC terms of use. By using any of the Websites, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to all online communication with Websites owned by the Company. When you provide us with online information through any of our Websites, we respect your privacy. It is important for you to understand what information we collect about you during your visit and what we do with that information. Please note that your visit to any of our Websites is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.


Information Collection


We only collect personally identifiable information about you via our Websites when you provide it in connection with a request for a product, service, or information. You may browse our Websites without providing any personal information; however if, for example, you decide to place an order, we will ask you for your name, delivery and billing address, phone number(s), email address, credit card number and its expiration date. If you choose to complete a user registration form, survey or sweepstakes entry form, we may ask you for information such as your contact information (e.g., name, e-mail address and mailing address), age group or birth date. Occasionally, as with product registration, we may also ask you for other information such as gender, income level, and information about your prior experiences with the Company's products. Use/Disclosure of Personal Information


The Company will not make your name, email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number available to any other vendors, or non-related organizations. The Company may use the information that you provide to fulfill your request for a product, information, or other service, or respond to an email or other request, as well as to create and deliver to you our newsletters or surveys, communications containing product information, usage tips or promotions, help improve our website(s) or services, or customize visitors' experience at our Website(s). The Company may also use your personally identifiable information to send you information about products, services and special offers. However, we want to communicate with you via email correspondence only if you want to hear from us. If for any reason you would no longer like to receive email messages from the Company, you can request to remove your information from our contact lists. Please allow up to 10 days for us to process your request. Please note, if you opt not to receive marketing emails from the Company, you may still receive "Transactional" email messages regarding your order (i.e. order confirmation, shipping information, customer service notifications, etc.) We may contract with companies or individuals to provide certain services including email and hosting services, credit card processing, shipping, data management, surveys and marketing, promotional services, etc. We call them our Service Providers. Ensuring Your Security


We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced security protocol that protects your credit card information and ensures secure online ordering. SSL Internet connections are encrypted, and thus protect all credit card ordering information, including your name, address and credit card number, so it cannot be read in transit. We use secure technology, privacy protection controls, and restrictions on employee access, to safeguard your personal information. Credit Card Information


If users choose to purchase subscriptions, memberships, or other products or services through this site, they may be able to do so with a credit card. In such cases, all credit card information is collected by a third party, in compliance with Payment Card Industry (or PCI) standards and requirements.


Technology Utilized


Like many e-commerce websites, we employ several commonly used technologies on this Website such as: cookies, clear gifs, networking traffic monitoring and active scripting. We use these to monitor the performance of the Website, measure its effectiveness, tailor our products, services and advertising to suit the personal interests of you and others, estimate our audience size, assist our online merchants to track visits to and sales at our Websites and to process your order, track your status in our promotions, contests and sweepstakes, and/or analyze your visiting patterns. Cookies: To enable Nuvo Residential to offer the best possible experience to visitors of this site and to offer continually updated information, we may assign users unique identification numbers which are stored in a file on their personal hard drive called a “cookie.” Cookies by themselves cannot be used to find out the identity of any user. This unique identification number automatically identifies specific users’ browsers to Nuvo Residential and this site whenever users interact and browse this site. Users concerned about the use of cookies have the option to set their browsers to warn them before accepting cookies, or to turn off cookies entirely. However, disabling cookies might interfere with the use of this site. Clear gifs" (also known as "web beacons") are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to help us better optimize our advertising. "Network traffic monitoring" is programming that monitors and analyzes network traffic, and can be used to capture data being transmitted on a network, including plain-text data and computer IP addresses. "Active scripting" is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Website, such as which links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your computer or mobile device from our server or a third party service provider, is active only while you are connected to the Website, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter. We may combine automatically collected Website usage information with your Personal Information. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Policy to the combined information.

Like almost every website, our Websites may be accessed by an international audience. Shipping Policy


We use a variety of carriers for each shipping option, and will choose the most appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address. It is not possible to specify a preferred carrier when placing your order. Most items cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. International shipping to US protectorates, APO, FPO, and DPO is not available at this time for any shipping method. The Company reserves the right to refuse drop shipments, pick-up orders, and orders that have different shipping and billing addresses. STANDARD SHIPPING: Most orders using Standard Shipping are shipped within 4 - 7 business days from the date of purchase. Expected delivery times will vary depending on the location where the item is shipped. While we are happy to offer products to customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, and some locations outside of the United States, additional shipping charges may apply to these locations and delivery times will vary.

NuvoH2O Warranty Information

Nuvo Residential, LLC dba NuvoH2O Warranty Information

NuvoH2O ("NuvoH2O") provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser of its water filtration, softening, and treatment products (the "Product") under the terms set forth below.

1. Warranty Coverage

NuvoH2O warrants that the Product, when installed, used, and maintained according to NuvoH2O’s specifications, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase. This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable.

2. Remedies

NuvoH2O will replace the defective part of the covered product, or if necessary, the product and include installation instructions for a licensed plumber or installer. The warranty on any replacement part shall be limited to the unexpired term of the original warranty. NuvoH2O reserves the right to inspect the defective part of the covered product, or if necessary, the product before authorizing a warranty replacement.

3. Warranty Conditions and Exclusions

This limited warranty is voided and shall not apply if:

  • The Product has been modified, altered, or used outside of its intended purpose.
  • The Product is not installed or maintained in accordance with all printed instructions and local plumbing codes.
  • The Product is not regularly maintained according to NuvoH2O’s recommendations, including changing filters and cartridges as specified and replacing the O-ring as needed.
  • The Product is installed in a household without proper pressure regulation.
  • Parts or accessories not manufactured or supplied by NuvoH2O are used with the Product.

4. Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by abuse, misuse, or neglect.
  • Damage caused by freeze, over-pressurization, water hammering, fire, or acts of God.
  • Labor costs for removal, installation, or reinstallation of the Product.
  • Any consequential, incidental, or special damages, including but not limited to, loss of use, loss of water, or loss of revenue.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact NuvoH2O’s customer service within the warranty period. Proof of purchase and evidence of the defect must be provided. NuvoH2O reserves the right to require that the defective Product be returned for inspection and verification of the defect before a remedy is provided.

6. Governing Law

This limited warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where NuvoH2O is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

7. Severability

If any provision of this warranty is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8. Entire Agreement

This limited warranty represents the entire agreement between NuvoH2O and the original purchaser regarding the warranty for the Product and supersedes any prior agreements, understandings, or representations relating to the warranty for the Product, whether oral or written.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. To the extent permitted by law, all other implied warranties are disclaimed or if not subject to disclaimer, limited to the term of the express warranty.


Product Return Policy


All returns must be authorized within 90 days of the purchase date and accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by NuvoH2O. Please contact Customer Support with complete customer and order information to obtain an RMA. All returned merchandise must be received within 30 days from the date the return is initiated. All merchandise must be returned, freight prepaid. If unused, merchandise must be returned in its original factory packaging. All refunds will begin processing within 5 working days of the receipt of the product.


Purchases made through third-party resellers and retail partners must be returned through those partners and are subject to their return policies.
