Get Better Water TodayMost standard NuvoLuxe installations take about 30 minutes when connecting to a typical 3/8-inch cold-water line. Installation may take longer if your plumbing requires additional adapters or modifications. Once connected, the system must remain pressurized for one hour and then be flushed for 5–10 minutes before the water is ready to drink.
We recommend that an adult be home during professional installation. This allows the installer to access the sink and water shutoff, confirm the setup with you, and provide a brief walkthrough of how to use and maintain your new NuvoLuxe system.
Please clear out the cabinet beneath your sink and make sure the cold-water shutoff valve is easy to access. NuvoLuxe requires a flat, stable space of at least 13 inches wide, 15 inches high, and 4.75 inches deep. It is designed for a 3/8-inch cold-water connection; additional adapters may be needed for other plumbing sizes.
Yes, but maintenance is simple. The pH Balance Cartridge and Premium PFOS Filter should be replaced at least every six months, while the Nuvo-Ultra-90 Filter should be replaced every 12 months. Filters may need to be changed sooner depending on water quality, usage, or reduced water flow. The twist-and-lock design makes routine replacements straightforward, and Autoship is available to help you stay on schedule.
